On appointment, Raishma and her team discuss the type of look and style of bridal wedding dresses the bride is considering. We not only look at tear sheets, we also let the bride try on similar shapes and styles of wedding outfits that are in the showroom. We can then see clearly whether this style of wedding bridal wear actually suits the client or not - in terms of cut and fit. After all, we really do want you to look your best!

We then provide honest and objective feedback on how the gown looks on on you. We want the dress you choose to be the most flattering cut possible for your body shape (dont worry, our gowns have in-built corsets to pull in your waistline!).

The Occasion:

The next factor to consider is whether the style chosen is actually suitable for the wedding itself. We ask, "is the bride having a small church wedding or is it going to be held in a hotel reception, or is it even a beach wedding"?

The Fabric and Colour:

After finalizing the shape and style of the wedding dress, the fabric itself can then be selected from the wide range of silks we have available. And if you are feeling adventurous, don't forget that we make wedding dresses in any colour, not just traditional white and ivory,. Our silks can usually be hand-dyed to any shade, and a swatch is shown to you before we proceed with the dress.

The Embroidery:

Raishma’s wedding bridal wear is synonymous with stunning hand embroidery. And there are a huge variety of embroidery patterns to choose from.. Alternatively if you want your wedding bridal wear to be 'chic' and understated then we can keep your wedding outfit simple and elegant without any embroidery.
