Wedding dress design - toile fitting

Within one to months, the bride is called into the store to have her first toile fitting. A toile is a cotton mock up of the dress. The toile is fitted on the bride and design details such as cut and style can be checked by the bride and modified to her exact requirements. An embroidery sample and fabric swatches are shown to the bride at this appointment and discussed with the bride. The embroidery can also be modified at this stage of production so the bride is completely happy. Once all these details are confirmed with the bride the dress is put into production in the actual silks. However, if the bride is losing weight, a second toile fitting maybe necessary nearer the time of the wedding. This will ensure that a perfect fitting of the dress is achieved.
