Elizabeth Emanuel

She was then fortunate enough to secure the role of assistant designer to Elizabeth Emanuel (the designer of Princess Diana’s Wedding Dress) in 1996. She worked alongside Elizabeth and helped to launch her new store in Chiltern Street in central London. Raishma helped liaise with Elizabeth’s celebrity clients such as Ringo Star amongst others. She also created story boards and design ideas for the up and coming bridal and eveningwear collections. Raishma gained vast knowledge in corsetry, and couture finishing working alongside such a creative mentor.
